Dr. Mills was simply outstanding. As keynote speaker, he attracted record attendance to the 2008 joint spring meeting of the Casualty Actuaries of the Northwest and the Seattle Actuaries Club. Dr. Mills was excellent as our lead speaker at our climate change insurance litigation conference, which addressed new liabilities and the changing landscape of State regulatory reforms, litigation including class action lawsuits, and potential corporate liabilities. His primer on the science behind the global warming debate set the tone of the entire event, and Dr. Mills was quoted repeatedly by speakers during the remainder of the day.
